You Can't Fly With One Wing
The biggest mistake made in the exam system is to focus only on subjects in your own field. However, the main factor determining the ranking is not the subjects everyone does, but the ones the majority cannot do.
TYT Social Studies for Numerical Students
For a numerical student, Math and Science are already must-dos. However, if you want to get ahead of thousands of competitors, you must solve Social Sciences (History, Geography, Philosophy, Religion) in TYT. An extra 5 social net scores can push you 10,000 people ahead.
Science for Equal Weight Students
Equal weight students usually study Math and Literature. However, the total of 20 questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in TYT plays a decisive role in EA ranking. Especially Biology and Chemistry can be handled more easily as they are close to verbal logic.
Math for Verbal Students
Math creates the biggest difference in the verbal score type. Making 5-10 net scores by doing only basic math (arithmetic, rational numbers, simple equations) easily places a verbal student in their targeted department (e.g., Gastronomy, Radio TV).
Remember, every net score is valuable in the eyes of OSYM. Do not eliminate subjects saying "I can't do it", develop a strategy saying "How much can I do?".
