Complacency or Competition?

Summer vacation is for resting, but for students moving to the exam year (8th and 12th grade), this definition is a bit different. When we look at the success stories of top-ranking students, we see that they used the summer months as a "tank filling" period.

They Finished TYT Topics

Successful students had finished 80% of TYT (Basic Proficiency) topics in the summer when starting 12th grade. This gave them enormous time to focus on AYT (Field Proficiency) during the school term.

They Established a Paragraph Routine

They turned the habit of reading books into solving paragraph questions. Starting the day with 20 paragraph questions is the best exercise to open the mind.

They Identified Their Deficiencies

Instead of studying randomly, they first solved a trial exam and did pinpoint studies saying "My math is good but I lack in science".

They Did Not Neglect Resting

Studying without stopping is not sustainable. Students who studied in the summer worked efficiently for 4-5 hours a day and devoted the rest of the day to sea, sports, and hobbies. This balance is essential to avoid burnout syndrome.

You can also outperform your competitors by joining Katalog Education Center's Summer Camp this summer.
